I killed my peripatetic mouse

I had this mouse on my laptop, generic backlit one I bought on eBay. I thought this old laptop was going bad because the touchpad died years ago. This mouse gave 3 clicks for every one click. I thought yahoo email was sabotaged, it would delete multiple items. I adjusted the mouse, cleaned it, resoldered the cord because it broke every few weeks. Finally I bought a used Lenovo mouse, late model, because it was what I found.

All problems solved. It wasn't the laptop, however beat up it is, it was the mouse. I had no idea a mouse that functioned could wreak so much havoc with electronics on a computer. Just thought I'd post it to alert other computer dolts like me.
