Need some help with spam!

Today I've received four emails, from the Google Cloud Platform, informing me that I have been granted a role in a new project. All four projects are some kind of porn (Real Hot Girl Waiting You...). The emails come from [e-mail].

I've gone to the Google Cloud website, and there is no way to report spam/abuse. I tried their support phone number, but I can't get past the part about entering my six digit pin. I don't have a six digit pin. I have a Google Cloud account that I haven't used in a couple of years. I forgot that it existed!

My questions for y'all (assuming this is the right group to ask )

• Is this something just going around or am I being targeted?
  
• How should I notify Google Cloud, or should I ignore them?
  
• As I haven't touched anything within the emails, can I assume that I haven't downloaded anything nasty to my laptop? (I'm running antivirus software as we speak.)

1. I get 20-30 per day.

Just delete them. They most likely aren't even coming from Google so there isn't much they can do.

You can set up a junk mail folder and have them automatically go to that. or just delete them.

I'm used to getting all sorts of spam every. single. day! But this was a new form of spam, in what appeared to be a valid email.

3. Yeah they're real tricky

They put an extra letter or symbol in the email so that it still looks legit.

It's getting real bad with both email and phones.

4. To see where the spam comes from,

you need to look at the email headers that by default do not get shown to you.
The "from" field is completely meaningless and always spoofed.

To see where the spam really came from read the "Received: from" lines from the bottom up.

If the email body is really using Google servers to host the spammy websites, definitely alert Google.
