Terms of Service; Didn't Read

A website that reads website Terms of Service agreements so you don't have to -- and then rates them. One of my picks for best new service of this decade (and they don't even collect your personal information). Notice that most of the services that have been rated so far offer no way to ever leave.

Note: This is perpetual work-in-progress. Listings will expand and improve. Humans really do read the TOS agreements so it takes time.

Scary. Like the Hotel California.

Thanks. I don't think that I have ever read these.

There are some technical reasons why with social media sites. For instance. imagine what DU would look like if every time a long term member left, all their posts and comments were deleted from the database. And on social networking sites the connections between the users defines the site so if you totally delete a user the entire network is adversely affected.

However, for services like Twitpic or WordPress.com, it's just BS to say that permanently removing a user isn't technically feasible.
