1. In firefox, click on Tools

then extensions ( it may be under

add ons tab
if not extensions tab)
and it should appear and have an option to click on "remove."

They originally a good product, but had to admit last year that there were tracking users for commerical gain.
I use Ghostery and Ad Block and that is all I need to keep ads and other drek off the pages I visit.
