Pissed off.. Google Chrome Frame just installed itself in IE.

I didn't click on anything or install any Google product. Google Frame is a plugin that overlays IE with the Google rendering engine.

Google's pledge is to "Do no evil" and they just installed a fucking virus in my browser without my consent. Grrrr. Because of this action I just unistalled all traces of Google software from my system. I'll miss Google Earth.

Has this happened to anyone else?

It has been known for a while that DIVX has been doing this...if you had a recent update to DIVX it could have happened then. And that would not be Google's fault, rather DIVX's fault. Perhaps something else went through an upgrade and brought it down?

just a thought...

Though it might be installed as part of a general video codec pack. I really doubt that's what did it.
