Windows 8 question: Anybody tried running

Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional or Photoshop 7.0 in Windows 8? I'm assuming they won't work, but I suppose anything's possible. Both work fine on my 12 year old Dell desktop, but this new 64bit Gateway/Acer laptop might not know what to make of them. Of course GIMP is the open source alternative to Photoshop and there are many pdf alternatives to Adobe's benchmark Acrobat software, but anyway if you have experience with Acrobat 7.0 and/or Photoshop 7.0 on W8, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

I had 32-bit CS1 running on 64-bit Win 7. It wasn't a supported configuration but it installed and I never had any problems. -tg

it won't work, just means that you're on your own to fix it yourself if it doesn't work. As an alternative, why not Paint.Net?
