Need help with Ad-Block in Firefox

I was trying to block an image in someone's signature and must have blocked more than that.

Now on DU I have no 'Rec' button, just an outline, and the lines that show the threading are gone. In the part of the page with just the subject lines for replies, all the replies are lined up and don't drop back to show which ones are replies to other messages.

I uninstalled Ad-Block, restarted Firefox, re-installed Ad-Block, with no improvement.

Where do I go to see what is being blocked by Ad-Block and how do I re-enable blocked items?

Or is this some bug on DU now that coincidentally started when I tried to block that image I didn't want to see?

So I don't know how to fix things but you should be able to get to adblock
s configuration by right-clicking an empty area of the top of the firefox window to the right of your tabs and tick the box for the addon toolbar. Then you will see ABP and can right-click that for options.

My ABP only blocks the following on DU:

democraticunderground.com,sciencedaily.com##.skyscraper-container

##div [ id^="div-gpt-ad-" ]

Either at the top where it used to be or in the addon tool bar I got when I followed your directions.

BUT - following the concept you suggested, I went into the Add-ons Manager, extension section, and clicked Options for Adblock. From that page, I clicked on the Filter Preferences button, then Custom tab, and unchecked the one item in the list for DU.

When I refreshed the DU page, things are back to normal!

Thanks for the hint that let me get it back the way I'm used to.

and find out all over again why it is so handy to have the icon on the tool bar.
Right click, first option lets me into the preferences,
and I just erase all DU blacks at one go. It is easier to black any again if I need to .

But it hasn't since the last Firefox upgrade. As long as I can read DU, I'm happy.
