Ok. My program list says I have Adobe Flash 11 x3. However,

(Sorry if that looks like math equation).

When I try to play a vid (not here), it says I need to download latest version. I DID! THREE TIMES ALREADY!

Ok. I'm calm now.

So why is adobe continusly saying I need to DL latest version of flashplayer 11??? I did install, rebooted, but still can't watch stuff--except here, it works fine.

I'm also wondering if being on wireless has something to do with this. Last time I got thank you message, but Youtube is giving me hardtime to watch stuff.

Any clues??

And I always use Firefox. It's annoying as hell, been going on for something like six months, and YouTube videos run like crap no matter if they're only less than a minute long or over two hours. And it isn't just YouTube vids for me since I've noticed that the same thing tends to happen with embedded videos on other website pages though they aren't usually as bad as on YouTube.

What OS are you using? 32-bit or 64-bit?

What browser are you using? 32-bit or 64-bit?

What are your security and scripting settings in your browser?

Well I don't know what scripting or security settings are, but I do know this is a 32bit on Vista.

I just happened to ask someone who said they've heard of this. They told me (and I was going to ask here) if someone had a link to Adobe 10.3. Apparently this is a wide spread issue.

They told me(and I'm going to do it now) is uninstall Flash 11 and go back to 10.3

This box was given to me since XP machine crapped out. This is on Norton security(don't know much about it). Was wondering if Norton was prohibiting proper update/install.

PM me if you have an idea. But I was told today that I should get rid of flash 11--and I guess its plugin, and reinstall flash 10.3

But if you think settings are issue, you'd have to walk me through steps.

UPDATE:

I tried to get version 10.3 but its apparently not available(404 error).
So now I am totally clueless as to why this issue exists. So FP 11 is all I can get.
