Computer takes forever to load online. Is this the Net Neutrality ending?
I may aw well have dial-up again as it now, just in the last three days, have noticed a real slow down in how long it takes a page to load! Pictures? The wi-fi seems to be back to dial-up speed! Videos? Forget about it! In running the troubleshoot I get a message that I am able to connect to "some websites". I checked with Kaspersky when this first started and they wrote back that my system is just fine, no problems. Anyone else experiencing slow-downs like this?

(9,314 posts)rebooting your router and/or modem? I had to do that last week and my speeds are back up to where they should be.

My old DSL sucked, then I went back to comcast and it got pretty fast.
Tonight I was at 20 MBS, it's been faster but 20 isn't bad.
Do the test and see what your speed is.
I'm going to go reboot the router now.

(5,477 posts)But I have the same thing with my router once in a blue moon. Just a reboot does the trick.
Maybe check that your router's firmware is up to date...?
