Sleep mode takes at least 20 or more seconds to work.

What's up with that?? I click on the sleep mode and it takes what seems like forever to work. It has worked fine up until a few days ago and now it's changed. My imac is about 2 years old. Any ideas? Thanks.

2. I don't have a clue, a kennedy.

Did you put a bunch if icon shirt cuts on your desktop recently?

I would run "clean permissions" and then download Clean My Mac and use it.

3. I would repair permissions, and run MacKeeper.

then reboot.

To restore permissions, open Disk Utility, which should
be found in your Applications/Utilities. Select your
drive on left side, click repair permissions. If this isn't
something you've done recently, it may take a while.

9. hmm.. well sorry if I sent you to a bum source.

I haven't had problems with M.Keeper but reading a little
bit just now I don't know if I should be recommending it.

Hopefully restoring your permissions was successful.
