DevonThink vs. Evernote vs. Yojimbo, etc.

I'm trying to decide what to use for the following:

  • Organizing random ideas and snippets of text into logical order

  • Organizing and searching in files of various types that I've created or scanned

  • Maintaining lists of web bookmarks that I want to revisit

  • Organizing material for creative projects

  • Any other uses you recommend for your tool(s) of choice

I love the way it syncs between my iphone, my iMac and my Touchpad.

I will say I haven't tried the other two options you mentioned. I also use Dropbox.

-- as I have with every other "cloud"-based service. But it could be that a version of this doctor's method would alleviate those concerns. (Scroll down to "Until Evernote receives certification..." to see what I'm talking about.)

I'm not a doctor, so the HIPAA issue isn't my concern -- I just err on the side of paranoia when it comes to privacy.
