Need Help Burning Off My Mac

I put in a blank disc and selected a play list....edit "burn to disc" - Everything fine. It starts to initialize, then I get the following error message:

Burn failed because of a medium writing error.

Any ideas.

if u have any canned air, blow into the slot for the drive.
Just make sure no moisture is coming out.

It's got little brushes on it that clean the laser lens. They're pretty cheap. Check any office supply, music or video store, or big box retailer.

DO be sure to read the instructions; each one is a little different.
