What do you think of Firefox 29

I was just updated to 29 and there's a lot of changes to the interface, not sure about under the hood what all has changed. I know that the add-on 'disable tabs on top' doesn't work now and I don't care for that change.
Anyways what you think?

had it originally. Admittedly, I've never taken advantage of a lot of the features that are possible. For me, I want a browser to be secure and do basic things. All the other bells and whistles aren't really very important to me.

Hopefully there are other changes to make it more secure

ETA: maybe its the time of day and not the update but it seems to open pages here at DU faster than before. I can hope anyway

3. Be careful upgrading if you have lightning or other calendar add-ons.

There are inconsistencies that cause FF to crash. You have to have the correct version match and the upgrade engine doesn't always get it right when upgrading FF. If it happens, you won't loose your calendar data though which is good. You just have to back out lightning and get the correct version or downgrade your FF. I think they are working on this but it's been happening off and on over a couple of years now. It has happened to quite a few people in the last upgrade.

You can use it to get your tabs back on the bottom and other things. I was a little taken aback by the hamburger menu, but as I've gotten used to it, I like it better than I thought I would. I did do a little cosmetic rearranging on the tool bar, but it's more about performance for me. FF29 is performing very, very well on my computer, with no crashes or glitches at all. It's quicker and smoother. A hard scrolling issue I experienced the last couple of releases has disappeared. Overall I'm happy with FF29. A lot of people don't like it, but that happens with the new and different. I think once folks settle into it, the response will grow more positive.
