This quote says a lot.

This is our opportunity to realize that we don’t have to see eye to eye to walk arm in arm.

I hope a lot of people see, and learn from, your exchange of ideas.

We can go so much further if we just work together!

March On, Democrats!

I've been around a long time. Long enough to love your posts about the President. I don't have much time to post.

I just thought you and the other poster maybe showed some others that it is possible to disagree about the routes taken to reach our common goals, yet still maintain a civilized discourse. I think sometimes people get so bogged down in the "fight" of the election, that they forget our common goals. I also feel like the media likes to feed us that "fight", so that we won't notice the absolute dearth of ideas coming from the GOP that would address the very real problems faced by our citizens.

I just wanted to recognize your civility.

And the means to accomplish most of his goals. As I see it - a lot of conservatives voted for Obama in 2008. The ginned up crazies went with McCain/Palin. Obama has fought their supporters in the era of a gutless Fourth Estate ever since. And with little help from Blue Dogs vis a vis gun control.

I fear we're a sick people. We need a healthy Fourth Estate pronto. The Trickle-downers still have the real power and care little about anything but their limited own best interests.

I don't always agree with the prez but I don't always criticize him either. He's a hell of a lot better than what we had before, nobody can dispute that.

I also stand with you on Ferguson.

Naturally a few things (TPP) upset me but the majority of what he did makes me damned proud. The guy has secured an amazing legacy.

Hope all's well, my friend.

I disagree with him on a few items, but no president has had to put up with the amount of shit that he has. Coming out for marriage equality during a re-election campaign bumped him up about 500 notches in my eyes. That took some stones.

Felt he lifted the whole country up.

He still handles himself as a gentleman in the face of hate. One on my most admired list.

Love Michelle and the girls, too!
