I don't blame her at all, so I apologize. She's sitting in her car, talking to someone in the parking lot: I've interrupted to ask whether she's registered to vote; she's told me she isn't and that she doesn't have time; I've bragged I can do it in two minutes -- and she's just said "All right!"

But when I start asking the questions, she says, "Can I finish one conversation before I start another?" So I apologize, and she says, "No, you're OK. Just let me finish this conversation first." So I work the parking lot until her conversation ends.

Then I collect a voter registration from her.

2. I had a lady accidently leave her ID at my blood drive registration desk the other day.

I wonder if she's a Republican? Nah, I can't do it. I called and she said she'd pick it up. Besides, the election is too far out anyway.
