1. Love his facial epression. Hand placement a little strange to me--looks like he is self-guarding

12. A portrait sitting is the event at which one takes a bunch of portrait photos or a painting.

Does not require or imply the subject is sitting down.

Look at his chin: He's standing leaned back there. Combine that with the crossed arms.

(His eyes are too neutral for this smile, but it's a scripted photo anyway.)

It's nice not to have a gin-blossomed idiot in the WH. Just looking at him compared to Chimp makes you feel better.

10. Everything's good, except for the crossed arms.

Most body language analysts say that crossed arms are a sign of defensiveness, reluctance or a "blase" attitude.

Or, it could be he was just cold.

In any event, I'm going to download the hi-res version, frame it and put it in my office in order to A) Inspire me; and, 2) Piss of the right-wingers in the office. (As an avowed liberal, I am WAY in the minority here.)

Thanks for the post.

comfortable. I could see him striking this pose while saying, "Very funny, Senator McTurtle. Now let's get serious about fixing this thing"
