OFA (Organizing for Action) and how can we advance our agenda

Many think OFA ended with the election. It didn't end! We're not finished. From my email:

For anyone who's ever wondered "What's Organizing for Action?", here's the best answer we've seen, from President Obama himself.

Take a look, say you're in, and then forward this video to your family and friends:

Here the channel you can see what I've been getting in my email:

Note:

There is a video in the sidebar posted by a conservative group with a woman (well-paid with Koch brothers money no doubt), attacking OFA. The video comes up first in the youtube results to smear OFA. It's called, 'What is Organizing for Action?'

The channel is WashingtonFreeBeacon and full of CPAC, Rush Limbaugh, Bush praise and Iraq War apologia, Paul Ryan, Benghazi and other smears against PBO. Just a warning.

Our country is worthy of the investment.

ARI SHAPIRO, BYLINE: When President Obama won a second term, his campaign, Organizing For America, closed its doors. A few weeks later, Organizing For Action opened for business. The goal is to get people to push his second term agenda. The staff collapsed from thousands down to dozens, but their ambitions remain huge. Sara El-Amine is the group's organizing director.
SARA EL-AMINE: On the State of the Union night we had 1,200 parties across the nation with not a single staffer on the ground.
SHAPIRO: Even without the staff, OFA has the email lists, the spreadsheets and the valuable lessons that Obama's campaign structure gathered over the last six years. For example, El-Amine said, they've studied exactly when to send house party invitations for the best response.
EL-AMINE: The sweet spot for sending - asking people to host an event is about 10 days before the event. The sweet spot for asking someone to attend an event is typically two days before the event happens.
SHAPIRO: She and other OFA leaders spoke at the toney St. Regis Hotel in Washington this morning for about 70 volunteers and donors. Last night, President Obama showed up and described his goals for group.

With Jim Messina who ran Obama's reelection and now he helps run the new OFA.
The Obama team that worked for his reelection were brilliant! They helped make our dreams come true! I see success in Organizing for action, I for one will not leave him to stand alone.

Our president is but one man. We have many voices.

Thank you freshwest, for posting the call to action. Our voices and actions matter.

I just received my third email..
last chance to become a founding member of OFA.

opened it--> clicked---> 19$---> done.

These guys have done an amazing job at making this process simple.
He is making a genuine effort to give power to the people.
Can he do more? Of course.

Did anybody here expect gay marriage and legalization of
marijuana to happen in one presidency? In our lifetime?
