Traveler perplexed by telephone pole sticking up from road

July 21 (UPI) -- A traveler on a Brazilian road shared video of the "weirdest thing" that he'd "ever witnessed" -- a telephone pole sticking up from a traffic lane.

The man captured video on a road in Icozinho, Ceara, showing a telephone pole installed well to the side of the double yellow line in the center of the road, partially blocking a lane of traffic.

The filmer said there was a sign about 109 feet up the road from the pole warning of its presence.

"It was the weirdest thing that I ever witnessed," he wrote.

1. Reminds me of the highway that ended

about 10 feet from the place it was supposed to meet the next section of road leaving a big gap and no way to drive from one side to the other.
