Pet ostrich weaves in and out of traffic after escaping from man's yard in China

A pet ostrich ran along a road after escaping from a man's yard in southern China. The video, filmed in the city of Beihai in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on February 20, shows an around 2-metre-high ostrich running among vehicles on a busy road. In another clip, the ostrich's owner covered the bird's eyes with a red cloth to avoid it becoming frightened. According to reports, the 1-year-old ostrich was a pet and it ran away from a man's yard after he opened the door. The video was provided by local media with permission.
