ASU Frat Boys Leave Drunk, Unconscious Member At Entrance Of Hospital With Explanatory Post It Note
An Arizona State University student who was drunk and left unconscious at a Tempe hospital is expected to be OK, officials said.
The 20-year-old student, a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, was left unconscious in a wheelchair at Tempe St. Lukes Hospital at about 4 p.m. Saturday, Tempe Police Department spokesman Sgt. Mike Pooley said. There was a Post-it note with a friends name and phone number stuck onto him.
Pooley said officers told him the note mentioned the student took part in a drinking competition.
Emergency room staff noticed him and immediately began treating him, Pooley said.
He was turning blue in the wheelchair and he was... having difficulties breathing, he said. The emergency room staff treat him very quickly, theyre able to get him checked out and theyre able to actually save his life.
