Man rams Reno adult store, steals Batman rings, corsets
A burglar rammed a truck into an adult store in Reno early Friday morning, making off with more than $1,000 worth of merchandise.
He tried several times to enter the back of the store before eventually smashing the truck, which was reportedly stolen, through the front door at about 4:30 a.m., according to Missy Fimby, an employee at Adam and Eve on 7520 Longley Ln.
"We think he had been in here before," Fimby said.
The man, who was wearing a towel over his face, took Batman rings, corsets and dancer wear, she said. He then drove off in the truck and crashed nearby, Fimby said, citing a local resident who saw the burglary.
