Escaped crabs delay flight
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A U.S. Airways flight to Charlotte was delayed for about half an hour after a shipment of crabs escaped in the plane’s cargo area, an airline spokesman confirmed.
Flight 890 was scheduled to leave LaGuardia Airport at 6:59 p.m. Thursday, but instead left at 7:25 p.m. due to “some seafood cargo problems,” the spokesman said.
