Ready For Hillary is really ready.
The group supporting a potential presidential run by Hillary Rodham Clinton is ready to fold up shop and hand over its list of supporters to the Clinton campaign if only Clinton will give the word.
The group, founded in 2013, uses low-dollar fundraisers, e-mail, direct mail and a "Hillary Bus" driving around the country to build a list of supporters for a Clinton candidacy. It has raised $10 million, most of which went to online advertising, and amassed contact information from 3 million people.
"When she makes the decision or announces the decision, we begin to shut down; 98% of our operations will shut down very quickly,'' the group's founder, Adam Parkhomenko, said Friday.

(145,060 posts)First, I am Clinton supporter. I even have a couple of Clinton/Castro 2016 bumperstickers that the Texas Democratic Party was selling a year or so ago.
I am a little nervous about Ready for Hillary. My local party and the state party had some issues with Battleground in 2014 including Battleground not entering data in the VAN. One rumor we heard is that Ready for Hillary wants to sell their list to the Clinton campaign and that the data not entered into the state party database will also be sold to the Clinton campaign.
I hope that these rumors are false but the story about selling e-mail lists came straight from Juanita Jean herself (she is a friend)

(145,060 posts)I was able to work with the Battleground voter protection team and I headed up my county's regional boiler room. Battleground had a nice young lady who had work for the Brennan Center head up the voter protection effort. She was still green and did not know Texas election law. There was some concern that the Battleground voter protection team was focusing on getting contact information from as many Texas attorneys as possible instead of recruiting non-lawyer poll watchers.
My county party and the head of the Harris County party really had issues with Battleground. I have heard that the contacts and data gathered by the Battleground volunteers never made into the VAN (the state party database).
Susan Bankston (i.e. Juanita Jean) was at an event where she was told that Ready of Hillary was planning on selling their e-mail list to the Clinton campaign. She could be wrong but Susan is not the type of person to make that mistake.
BTW, Juanita Jean is very excited about Hillary.
