Related: About this forumThe sheer incompetence of the sanders campaign really can't be ignored any longer
Everytime sanders runs into primary voting issues...they sue....they complain the system is rigged...the rules too complicated or confusing or they didn't know the rules...and his supporters all echo the same sentiment
I say how freking hard is it to GOOGLE? I can can google each states primary rules without working up a sweat. I know if they are open or closed or a hybrid...I know what you have to do as voter....takes minutes for each state....minutes...
So the sanders campaign has berned through a couple HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS...and they still don't know how to GOOGLE....sanders has paid out millions for his campaign staff....and still don't know how to GOOGLE...like good grief....this man expected to be president and he is judgement and knowledge is SO BAD that he doesn't know what GOOGLE is, the people he hires doesn't know what GOOGLE is...
and he thinks he can be president? He isn't even competent enough to hire staff that knows how to GOOGLE,,,
you would thin kthe VERY FIRST THING on the agenda for a primary would be what are the rules and how do I let my followers know...this seems to have been missing from day one. Every primary was a new day...like a perpetual groundhog primary day...and the overpowering idea of GOOGLE seem to escape the sanders campaign every time..
The sheer incompetence of throwing away $200 million and NOT knowing how to GOOGLE is truly mind boggling.....thank god we saved america from bernie

(14,530 posts)think that knowing each states campaign laws and mentioning them several times at rallies would be standard for any candidate. Failure work on something that basic turns you into a loser.

(10,437 posts)takes a lot of effort to be this ignorant
rule #1 for any elections know the freaking rules
rule #2 refer to rule #1
so incompetenmt not to know the rules and not able to tell your supporters the rules and then go to great lengths to attempt a COVER UP of your incompetence by blaming everything else
we did save america from sanders...total lack of leadership skills where he isn't even skilled enough to hire people that have the skills
but all sanders been..a ranting and raving guy....no time to learn google

(50,870 posts)We hold it close to the early voting site. And let those know that they can walk over to vote early.

(8,379 posts)Anyone who is a registered independent KNOWS that there are rules about which primary they can vote in, IF THEY CAN VOTE AT ALL.
My husband is a registered independent. He understands that in our state he is not permitted to vote in the primary. It's not new information. It wasn't set up to keep him from voting for a Democrat.
There is simply no excuse for not knowing. If you are so enthusiastically backing a candidate then you would find out how to vote for him. However, if you are simply going to rallies because it's the fun thing to do then chances are you aren't going to bother figuring out the rules.

(10,437 posts)the clear case of a campaign fought with incompetence from bernie right down the line...I'd tell you if weaver was on my show first thing I would ask him...do you know what google is....
I would ask bernie but I already know he doesn't know
and the blame game been surreal...
when the fact is the campaign incompetence is the fact THEY really didn't know how to google....and neither did his followers..or they kept to themselves lol

(4,035 posts)I had a colleague in his late twenties who complained that every relationship he had, she broke up with him after a year or two, when he was getting interested in settling down. Were all women not interested in settling down, he asked me. I asked him a few questions about them, and afterwards pointed out that he always found girlfriends in their early twenties who were students, meaning that a year into their relationship, they graduated, and had life-changing decisions to make with regards to jobs, where to live etc. The only common denominator for the girlfriends he chose, was that he had entered into a pattern with regards to whom he fell in love with, and perhaps if he looked for his next girlfriend among his own cohort now, they would be more amenable to settling down and have children with him. It was a light bulb moment for him.
So, when all your ex-boyfriends are @ssholes and your ex-girlfriends are "crazy", know that the only thing they have in common are you. If all of them are problematic, you're the problem, not them. The same goes for the Sanders campaign. If all the states you lose are rigged and you're cheated out of a victory, the problem is with you, not with the voters.

(521 posts)But his followers believe it wholeheartedly. They're following his lead, hanging on every word, etc. What he says, goes. I can't imagine being blindly devoted to someone.
At least, we can admit when Hillary falters. We KNOW she's not perfect. No one is. For instance, when she mistakenly (and stupidly) credited the Reagans for bringing national awareness to HIV/AIDS, I cursed her to hell. Granted, she didn't lose my support, but I was livid. To her great credit, she apologized and even took the time to discuss the history of HIV/AIDS and its present condition. That was very big of her, and very telling. Trump and Sanders would NEVER admit any wrongdoing. They're too proud.

(42,862 posts)... and it just reaffirms my decision to support her.
caquillo
(521 posts)because Hillary may have, somewhat unintentionally, done history a favor in the long-run. Afterward. there were already dozens of articles and thousands of tweets and Facebook posts in which journalists and ordinary citizens were using the opportunity to set the record straight on the Reagans' true AIDS legacy. So, on a day in which the Right would have wanted us to canonize this public figure (Nancy Reagan) and in which most people would defer to politeness or respectful silence, the truth was being shouted out from that proverbial rooftop. I guess, in the long run, that's a good thing.

(14,040 posts)It was obvious early on that Independent voters were drifting towards Sanders and the lack of organization on getting them prepared to vote in Primaries shows me how disorganized his White House would be. If your campaign staff can't get it together to get some people registered for primaries, how are you going to run the nation?

(10,437 posts)single issue guy....and really not well versed on issues...his was clueless in California on the water issue was pretty telling. His whitenouse would have been a disaster and we can say we all saved america from a sanders disaster
allowing an unvetted candidate to get this far tells how the media tried all they could do make democratic primary "interesting"...I go further, the media that discussing sanders...and his history would have destroyed his primary campaign in the first few weeks...not saying this was a vast right wing conspiracy...I'll let history be the judge of that
no why sanders gets any support of interest had record been discussed, had all stances been discussed, had his pacifism been discussed

(12,448 posts)would have people specialized and devoted to learning the primary/caucus rules for each state and educating their supporters. I just shake my head every time they whine about not being allowed to vote and how unfair it all is and how persecuted they are and how ALL THE STATES Sanders lost are controlled by the establishment oligarchy third way Clinton shills. If the campaign is too stupid and the supporters are too lazy to Google the states' election laws, then no, they shouldn't be "allowed to vote."
