Cher at Hillary Clinton's 'She's With Us' Concert: 'She Fights For Equality..."

The star-studded "She's With Us" concert held in honor of presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton not only included performances by mega artists like John Legend, Ricky Martin and Stevie Wonder, but also memorable remarks from icons like Cher, who jumped onstage to say a few words about her friend, Mrs. Clinton.

"As you might have heard, last month I turned 100 years old ... Ok, I turned 70 but it's the same s***," joked the singer and actress at the June 6 show at L.A.'s Greek Theater. "I've been alive through 11 presidents and when I was young, I didn't even know if was possible for a women to be president of the United States. I want to tell you that when Clinton ran for Senate, they asked me if I wanted to spend some time with her at a tea party gathering where she would talk to women. I was so interested in what she had to say, she was so different.

"After about the third conversation with these groups of women I told her, 'you're so nice and funny and so great, why are you not like this all the time? I love you, you can hang with me," said Cher who in April tweeted that she was torn between Democrat candidates Bernie Sanders and Clinton. After her speech at the "Hillapalooza," as she referred to the concert on Instagram, it is clear that she is #TeamHillary. "I've known her for a long time now and I have to say that no matter which way the political winds have blown at any moment, her moral compass has always pointed towards grace, justice for genders, and justice for sexual orientation, which is big for me. All of those things are important to me."
