We reached this moment thanks to the struggle and sacrifice of generations of women and men before us.

We should lift each other up—not tear each other down. To be great, we can’t be small. We have to be as big as the values that define us.

Sanders better start reworking whatever bitter speech he had planned for tonight.

Her mom was born on the day American women got the right to vote, June 4, 1919. Her 97th birthday would have been Saturday.

I'm so glad that my 84 year old Mom is here to see this. She said she never thought she'd live to see this day. She's thrilled and so am I!

I'm also thinking about my Nana, born before the 19th amendment was passed. She was a lifelong staunch Democrat and a feminist. I hope that she's smiling in heaven.

It is amazing she was able to keep her composure because it is such an emotional moment. She really paused and took it in and shared it with everyone. This is such a huge milestone and she has worked so very hard to get to this point. I love how she said she would take a few days to adjust to it! I know many of us feel the same way.

I am so proud of Hillary and our country tonight.
