Briefly saw Carl Bernstein on a CNN panel, and if I heard right he was joining in with

the R/W refrain that President Obama and Hillary appear weak by not using the term "Radical Islam".

Did he even listen to what the President or Hillary said?

Between him and Woodward, their day has come and gone

He's trying to remain relevant. Not doing a bang up job of it, though.

"Drumming up a controversy" is right.. Obama's got this so chill the **** out everybody.

Someone was filling in for Hartmann but I don't know who it was. He was saying that Obama's speech pointed out how weak Hillary had sounded. He was annoying me so I turned the station.

so the false equivalency crowd has to drum up some bullshit to drag down the Ds to the same level.

That, and some of these guys love playing the role of contrarian. If one of their ridiculous theories or obesrvations pans out, they look like geniuses of the inside game. If not, well, no one remembers when they got it wrong.

Which was later turned into a movie starring Meryl Streep and Jack Nicholson. According to Ephron, the man had no respect for women.

fan of Hillary - and has had little good to say about Prez O.

He and Woodward may once have been icons. But their day has LONG since passed and both are trying in every way they can to make themselves relevant.

They have become sad and pathetic, IMO.

11. Bernstein's book about Hillary

came out in 2008 and is generally a good read that provides a nuanced and fair picture. https://www.amazon.com/WOMAN-CHARGE-Hillary-Rodham-Clinton/dp/0307388557

More recently, however, he has begun repeating RW slurs and smears in re Hillary's email and carrying the GOP's water for them. See, e.g.

Even Breitbart has been delighted to quote him, but I won't post that here.
