Two positive comments about the upcoming Trump/Clinton campaign and election:

1. If things keep going the way they have been the last week or two, Clinton should win in a landslide

2. With #1 in mind, the House and Senate elections should yield HUGE gains for the Democrats, maybe a majority in one or even both houses.

With a Democratic majority in the SCOTUS, all those voter restriction enacted around the country will be challenged and gone, as will be all the redrawn congressional districts. Citizens United will be gone. The 2020 census will cause many congressional districts to be redrawn. The first election after that? 2022.

An attempt to stave off some of the losses.

Even the right is worried about #1.

We've got the Brexit vote coming up, which could launch the global economy into recession.
There's still Daesh and other terrorist forces.
The last jobs report was alarming.

Still a lot of work and campaigning to be done.

No matter what state, county, precinct etc you're in, please do SOMETHING, even if it's talking to people at work, in a bar, at your local yarn store (that's me!), wherever people are gathered.

When we turn up to vote in large numbers, we win.

A landslide victory for Secretary Clinton would give her a mandate. If your second prediction is even half correct, George II, then she'll have the legislative mechanism to implement the mandate. Big and great changes could be in our future!
