Heather Johnson was standing behind a barricade in front of the Portsmouth Middle School the backdrop to something of a lovefest between Shaheen and Clinton Saturday morning. I already know what Im doing, she says, Im voting for Hillary.
The fact that Shaheen, New Hampshire's Democratic U.S. Senator, had given her endorsement to Clinton was not surprising - as Portsmouth lawyer Paul Pudloski commented, theyve been political allies for over 25 years." For Pudloski, who said he has not yet decided who hes voting for, the endorsement makes no difference to me.
But there was a reason Shaheen and Clinton stood on a stage Saturday, Shaheen pronouncing I am a woman for Hillary, and Clinton responding shes lucky to have a friend like Jeanne Shaheen. As Clinton supporter Ned Helms put it, This is not just a nice, stand up, wave your hand and now you have an endorsement.

(70,090 posts)This new poll fits under this thread. It has Biden included--so take with a grain of salt at this point.
Also I do hope this new push by Shaheen and Hillary camp can do some good. Hillary will be in NH over the Labor day weekend I think.

(11,014 posts)but the opposite is true.
Bernie comes across as a bureaucrabot that says all the right things but his dry speaking style and 3 note range makes him come across as a curmudgeonly grandpa or uncle who should have taken up fishing after he retired.
The debates will work in Hillary's favor because she will come across as a warm, affectionate, real person who can debate soundly and intellectually on policy, strategy and people's aspirations.
