I have been here a long time but if supporters of a certain candidate are going to be sending threatening letters via snail mail, I don't have the time for the bullshit. I have put the entire GD Primaries in the trash as well as specific key words. I suggest all Hillary supporters do the same and only post here where it is more safe. DU is just not worth threatening letters. No forum is.

I just went over to AA and read the letter. The letter writer didn't say "you better know your place" But they didn't have to, the tone of this letter was pretty obvious!
I would never have thought I would see such a disgusting thing from someone who frequents DU. I am seriously nauseous, and more than a little frightened by this, and it didn't happen to me. What have we come to, if a DU member can't feel safe posting on a site with like minded individuals!!

We need to realize that none of us are truly anonymous on the internet. I have no doubt that the right wing operatives already know most, if not all, of our real identities from posting on this site. Perhaps some of our more tech savvy members could give us pointers for us to use to prevent this type of stalking. However, some of the stalking going on really appears to be an organized effort and not from other Democrats. Hopefully, I am mistaken.

The election in 2016 is of vital importance for the future of the country and the world. The right wing and their hired hands are already is desperation mode and it is going to get much uglier and nastier before it is over. HRC is the only candidate that could take these attacks and prevail. We will be in a very bad spot, if she does not win in 2016. All of us who support her will be attacked one way or the other through this campaign. Be careful out there and in here. We are going to need to be brave, strong and resourceful to prevail. I will maintain that these attackers are not Bernie Sanders supporters. He is not attacking HRC and neither should his supporters. I am no warmonger, did research for Will Pitts' book on Iraq, but to equate HRC to Cheney is asinine. The situation is out of control now in Syria. Clinton pushed for more action, when there actually were moderates there, but there are NONE there now....I get my news from France 24, etc. on MHZ.org...or Al Jazeera. Now Russia is in there.
Iranian governments come and go, and this one has its own battles to fight just to get this deal going. So, it is NOT off the wall to suggest that we have to be ready to reevaluate....Obama himself said it.
