Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSo, what GOP operative put Monica Lewinsky up to starting a high-profile project? (HILLARY SUPPORTERS GROUP)
Just saw on TV news that she's launching an anti-bullying effort. Huh? Just as Hillary, and Bill, begin to share the national spotlight, somebody, IMO, wanted to remind ppl of that Clinton scandal from years back.
Somebody, who wanted to embarrass Hillary, get the press clucking, etc. Or maybe Monica herself decided to jump back into public view. Thoughts?

(30,058 posts)I have been 21 before, I did not see the need to have a sexual encounter with my boss, etc. Hillary is much more decent than this Monica person. We know what happened along with the over $1M the GOP wasted investigating the Clintons and again with the over the top Benghazi which has already proven nothing could have prevented the killing of four Americans in Benghazi. Just crap, nothing more.

If someone is hoping she'll be treated badly by anyone in the Clinton camp and thereby allow her to make a claim that she is being "bullied" now; well, I hope it just blows up in their face.
The GOP overplayed their hand in the 90's. All this can do is make Monica look like she's seeking attention. This is just red meat for the republican base and no one else cares.
I was going to urge everyone to ignore this ploy but, on second thought, it might be an opportunity for Hillary to co-opt the message, make a strong anti-bullying statement (if she hasn't already done so) and laud Monica for bringing attention to an important issue. It would be hilarious seeing this spin off in a direction that Monica's puppetmasters never envisioned.
(a little truth in advertising - I'm a Bernie supporter - I just want this election to be about issues, not dirty tricks as this attempt obviously is - and I will support the Democratic nominee in November 2016 (unless it's Jim Webb))
