Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSad that the term Billary is now allowed on DU. HRC Room.
Survived a jury 2 to 5.
Would post the results but another hide would silence me.

(28,270 posts)Bernie has gone as far as hes ever going to go which is way way short of winning the democratic nomination.
As soon as super tuesday rolls around next year we will see the end of anti democratic party crap here.

(28,270 posts)On a daily basis you see post from Bernie backers promising they will never vote for Hillary if she wins the nomination.
They usually have many recs and lots of affirmative responses.
I hope the owners step up and do the right thing, we'll see.

(24,553 posts)and trying, Justin. I trashed GDP and only read a little occasionally when a thread is linked as you did above. I cannot read through all that crap.
As much as Skinner denies it, the jury results are "anything goes" for Bernie supporters and "hide upon request" if it is a HRC supporter. There are way too many Bernie supporters who haven't progressed from middle school, and still think they are bmoc.

(135,425 posts)Given that Sanders' wife has worked as his Chief of Staff, his Public Relations assistant, AND one of his campaign managers (for which she was compensated in his last run), I wonder how people would feel if we snarkily combined their names.
It's just so pointless to be childish in that way--so "that other site."

Because I support Hillary of course.

But when 85 percent of the active posters are Sanders supporters they have the numbers.

(27,813 posts)... from a "Democratic" site that has not only allowed the most vile things to be said about Democrats on a daily basis - but is in fact so proud of those vile things, they wind up on the Home Page?
Have you ever wondered what kind of newbies this site attracts, when the first thing someone new to the site sees is the anti-Dem rhetoric that greets them on their first contact with DU?
I keep wondering how many actual Democrats are still here. I'm sure that if you could magically erase all non-Dems from DU, you'd just see a bunch of tumbleweeds blowing across your monitor when you logged-in.
hrmjustin
(71,265 posts)... they won't vote for or Hillary are Republican trolls.

They're Republicans, Paulbots, Libertarians - and they've taken over DU.

(27,813 posts)... what isn't allowed here nowadays?
And all the while the worst anti-Dem bullshit is posted here, day-in-day-out, Skinner just stands there going - because according to him, he has absolutely no control over what gets posted on the site he wholly owns. It's those damned juries and their "community standards" that are to blame.
hrmjustin
(71,265 posts)Criticism of Sanders is apparently a sin now.
Heartbreaking for a place I love.

(27,813 posts)... when it was a gathering place for Democrats.
Now it's a gathering place for anti-Democrats - and they can have it.
A LOT of the alleged BS supporters here are NOT Democrats. They use their "I'm a BS supporter" meme to cover their asses while they post anti-Dem bullshit all day long.

(3,811 posts)I've lost some truly absurd jury decisions.
I would like the opportunity to reply to the alerter's comments so that the jury sees both the alerter's charge and the alertee's response.
The alertee couldn't post again (anywhere) until she answered the charge.
hrmjustin

(3,811 posts)that apparently read the alerter's absurd charges and just knee-jerked "Oh Hell No!" without thinking.
Not only would I like the chance to answer the charge before it's given to a jury, but I'd like to see other defendants do that as well.

(11,982 posts)Google "billary" within the DU site, I got 8790 hits. So it is not "now" allowed, it goes back at least to 2008 (just from the first page of results).

(51,550 posts)Nor is it OK for you to come and disrupt in the DU Hillary supporter safe haven. You are not a Hillary supporter. You have the entire rest of the site to spread your anti-Hillary message. Hell, you have the whole internet. I see awful, incorrect posts in the Bernie group all the time. But I do not go in there to correct them. That is their safe haven. It would be rude, and I believe in the Golden Rule.

(11,982 posts)I read stuff from all areas. Especially if it's on the front page. I didn't specifically head for the Hillary group, I just clicked on a link that caught my attention, and it happened to be here. I do check to see if it's a group before I reply with anything negative about the group's topic, but I did not think I was saying anything negative about Hillary, so I thought it would be okay to comment. Maybe I misunderstand the rules? I thought I was just making a fair observation, I didn't think it would get under anyone's skin.

(5,954 posts)I think Bill and Hilary governed as a team during Bill's term (Hilarycare a good example, as well as her trip to China etc.), they did a good job, and I'd gladly look forward to a repeat of it. "Billary" works as a description of a good team. But I guess we could update it to "Hilliam" or something, in honor of which one of them is heading the ticket this time.

(16,104 posts)The Hillary-hate is a bar to any argument. We might as well be on a Republican blog pointlessly arguing.
When Hillary is the nominee, I expect there will be an epic housecleaning.

(9,494 posts)...you get the lowest common denominator. Expecting more is futile. Wait a few months and it won't be allowed anymore. You can't tear down the Democratic candidate when the loser finally drops out.
