Hillary Clinton is killing it with women and young voters (HRC GROUP POST)

http://fusion.net/story/114427/hillary-clinton-polls-2016-campaign-young-voters-women/

----

I'm posting this because I have one of those "I talked to a friend" type stories.
I live in Oklahoma. My neighbor friend is a lot younger than I am, but we really click as friends.
Her mother is just a few years younger than I am. I also know her mother. My friend is not into politics that much.
She was raised in a religious and very Republican household, but is pretty liberal herself.

We were talking and she said that both she and her mother are voting for Hillary.
I said, " I'm not too surprised you support her, but your Mom! No way.
My friend said that her mother is just disgusted with the way Republicans are with gay people and
she just likes Hillary.

Now, no way this type of thought will be enough to swing Oklahoma to blue....but it is out there.

Now for the article.............

Early 2016 polls continue to show former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton building an impressive demographic coalition — even surpassing the heights President Barack Obama reached in 2008 and 2012 — and one that will make it tough for Republicans to beat.

Most impressive: Her strengths with women — particularly college-educated women — and young voters.

“On the plus side, Secretary Clinton is considered a strong leader — a key characteristic for voters when picking a president, more so than her leading, but lesser-known, potential GOP opponents,” said Peter Brown, the assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll, which conducted surveys this week in the key swing states of Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. “But about half the voters in all three states question her honesty and trustworthiness.”

Still, many of those voters plan to pick her. The numbers show that Clinton has commanding leads over significant potential Republican challengers among those key demographics. Here’s how she fares with young people aged 18-39 against select opponents:

My sis is a life long Republican and she is voting for Hillary as well. The other sis still thinks Hillary is evil but she doesn't count. I know many Okie women who will vote for Hillary.

any candidate in either party. I know I would be one who would vote with my heart which will be Democrat but having that issue removed, she is the best choice we have at the present time.

There are plenty of RW stories running around, falsehoods without facts with an agenda to trash Hillary. She appears to have gathered professionals around her campaign which can and will support the person she is, I am getting excited, I know it will be happening shortly.

One thing the talking points has done is to give the desire to research Hillary more, to look at the records of others and I can say Hillary is what we need. Bush has sent this nation into a tail spin, Obama has worked very hard reversing the opinions of the US, we need Hillary to continue this for 8 more years.

Our challenge is to get a supporting Congress in place which has sensible Democratic ideas back on the front burner, to get corporations and upper income individuals to pay their fair share and jobs which allow the rest to earn enough money to support their families. We want jobs, we like to "pay our way", Hillary has ideas to allow these things to happen.
