Regardless of what happens in Iowa and NH (and I believe HC will win one, if not both states) I am

So proud to be on the side of people like Rep. Lewis, Gabby Giffords, and Sybrina Fulton.

These are extraordinary people, people who have risen above their circumstances and have build on their tragedies for the betterment of everyone.

How could the three of them be wrong on something so important? I'm sure that each of them came to their final choice after much thought and consideration.

I'm also very proud of the members of this group, all the beautiful, brave, brilliant posters of the HCG on DU. Being a minority you all have fought valiantly and have not allowed anyone to bully you out of here. I only wish I could be half the writer that all of you are.

Thank you, HCG

Good read. I'm a proud member of the Democratic Party.

Nobody pays attention to a race that isn't close, so expect some carefully crafted polls to show that. Plus voter motivation--fewer show up for what they feel is already a done deal.

Not to mention that I fully believe the radical Sanders side is setting up to scream "voter fraud" when they lose the primary. Whether the Senator himself follows along with this is quite doubtful.

Whereas over the past, I'd slowly been losing respect for his campaign and candidacy,
now, I'm beginning to lose respect for the man himself.

but any respect I had for him (considerable) is now long gone.

Between stealing Mrs. Clinton's data in a deniable manner, the snide commentary (after vowing a clean election), the inability to speak on more than one topic...it just keeps getting worse.

I'm not saying he'd be a disaster anything like Trump or Cruz or Rubio in the White House...but I'm leaning more and more toward minor disaster, one-term President. He just doesn't seem to have the capability or interest in multi-tasking or paying attention to things he dislikes working with.

That worries me.

He could win Iowa and NH and loose everywhere else. Just because he has the loudest and vocal supporters doesn't mean that it's going to translate to votes. They can post all the articles, manipulate the site to their advantage, silence those of us who speak out, but in the end, all of what they are doing is going to hurt their candidate when we vote for Hillary. I do believe in my heart that Super Tuesday it will be all but over

I believe both will come out winners. Super Tuesday on the other hand will be the end game for sanders and if mot the endgame, the 2nd to the last nail in the coffin.

The race is just tightening as people start to focus. It's just a function of the fact that we're only a few weeks away from voting. This was always going to happen.

The bottom line, however, is that HRC remains the heavy favorite. After IA and NH, Sanders has almost no margin for error. And I do think that having the relationships and backing of the state parties (by virtue of the fact that she's actually been a Democrat for longer than six months) is a huge piece of the equation.

I really hope she doesn't lose either IA or NH, and losing both would suck. Long term, however, the political junkie in me wouldn't mind seeing her win the nomination after losing those two as it would endanger the ridiculous stranglehold they have on the process. IA and NH have tiny, homogeneous populations, and it's about time they stopped having such an oversized influence on American politics.
