You read it here 1st ....

Ok, the "meaningless" polls (you know the one that only matter when Bernie is ahead) are showing Bernie ahead Hillary. So what!

Now, if Hillary wins in Iowa the screeching will be "SHE CHEATED"!!!

Same thing happened in 2008 when Hillary won New Hampshire, the Hillary bashers went nuts.

The other side will be if Hillary doesn't win both, we will be told to "get out of the way" and let the mighty Bernie train roll to victory.

With that said, everything you said is correct.

I would warn the Bernistas, a recession = republican president.

as a whole, and they'll support and cast their vote for the weakest candidate just to be able to say,
"I voted my conscience!"

The economy, social programs, education, immigration, and all that unimportant stuff take a backseat to their all-holy conscience. Because, you know, it's always been all about them, of course.

when it turns out that, despite those polls, Hillary Clinton wins the nomination, hands down. They hate the Clintons so much that they'll actually vote for a pro-gun, anti-immigration know-nothing, do-nothing, inexperienced congresscritter who has zero chance of winning from any Republican. Should by some miracle Bernie wins the primaries, all those Liberty U students and Republicans who say they'll vote for Bernie will scatter like roaches when the lights switch on - and we get a Republican in the White House. God help us if that's Trump.

But those Berners can happily and gleefully pound their chests and crow, "I voted my conscience! So what if a Republican won the White House? I voted my conscience!" because, you know, it's all about them. The country as a whole doesn't even factor into that narcissistic thought process.

They did that in 2000 and, up until the public sentiment turned against them, they were crowing how they voted their principles - you know? Like Republican voters are wont to do despite being on government assistance most of their lives and needing it while voting for Republicans who are trying to take it away from them.

"Well, if the majority of people hadn't been so stupid to cast their vote for Gore, we'd have a real Liberal in the White House! So you have no one else to blame but yourself."

Yes. This is what a few on truthdig actually told me.

With these people, it's their way or the highway. The narcissism is strong in these folks.

Vermont's "liberalism" is a bunch of b.s.

The GOP took the lower house in 2000 in a revolt against gay marriage. Dean almost lost the Governorship.

Bernie's anti-immigrant votes were reflective of this wonderous "progressive" land's population at minimum.

Bernie screams from the corner. He has not worked within congress like Hillary has.

I didn't know that about the lower house going GOP in 2000.

It appears Vermonters are not as liberal as they'd like everyone to believe.

Thanks for the info.

Bernie loves the farm bill.

And the defense bills! Don't forget that over $1 trillion dollar Lockheed Martin boondoggle, the F-35, Bernie LOVES. By the way, Lockheed Martin, a corporations trading in Wall Street, gets EIGHTY TWO PERCENT of their revenue from Big Gubment - that is, taxpayers. And that failed project has already cost the American taxpayer $1.5 trillion dollars - with no end in sight.

screeching, hollering and stomping their feet. The Clinton hate is amazing though, especially on DU. It's why I stayed away after I discovered it in 2008. When they start using GOP tactics from spewing right wing talking points and attacking her daughter and granddaughter, you know it's not about supporting a candidate they believe in, but just venting their bile on the one they love to hate.

Why? In 2000, we didn't have the social media we do now. We were still at the mercy of corporate news organizations that continued to propagate that 'some people say, Gore and Bush are the same!' and Fox "News" Channel was still considered "fair and balanced" - which was a bald-faced lie, but it worked.

They can't get away with that shite now.
