"Really Senator Sanders?”

"It's regrettable, and surprising, to hear Senator Sanders describe the very groups that fight on behalf of millions of often marginalized Americans — people who still have to fight for their most basic rights — as representing the 'establishment.' Reproductive health care and rights, and the full equality of LGBTQ people, are core progressive values that should unite us all," she added."

I think his advisors have encouraged him to "get tough," but he just comes off as mean sounding.

Or maybe his meanness is just finally showing. Anyway, he's sounding more and more like John McCain to me. No more presidential than Trump.

of being the "establishment".

Why is PP the "establishment"? Because they've been around for a hundred fucking years and are the largest organization of their type. Ditto the HRC who, while younger, are similarly the largest advocacy group for the LGBT community.

What are the implications here? Should Sanders somehow be elected, will he turn up his nose at these and similar organizations because of their influence? If so, in favor of what?
