... that Senator Sanders is not the George McGovern of the 2016 Democratic Primary. In 1972, McGovern won one state and the District of Columbia. Moreover, he won 37.5% of the vote.

That's almost exactly where Senator Sanders sits in the national polls.

His recent call to campaign "until the convention" is the kind of talk we heard from Jeb Bush right before he suspended his campaign. It is the kind of talk you hear from the Board of Directors that will give a "thumbs up" to a beleaguered CEO, or an Athletic Director who says that the head coach is "Still our guy."

Now, it is possible that tomorrow we will hear a different note, but if it not, then the bell tolls for thee.
