Thought so

Tad Devine said on MSNBC that Bernie is running against the Democratic Party, not running for it! Tried to embed the tweet but couldn't

Now I actually wonder if Sanders will endorse after he loses.

Here's the tweet

Steven Hebert ‏@smbear55 2h2 hours ago
Tad Devine just admitted on @MSNBC that Bernie Sanders is running against the Democratic Party not for the Democratic nomination.

sure why they don't just go away and start their own thing, but they seem intent on destroying us from within. When I see someone spouting crap that party labels shouldn't matter, they go on Ignore. I love the Democratic party, and it makes me wonder why those who don't would want to hang out in places like this, unless it's to sow dissent.

to spout anti Democratic party rhetoric. The gist of his message now seems to be that he'd vote for Donald Trump over Hillary. I'm not sure why anything by Nader is even allowed on a board whose mission is to "elect more Democrats".

Vote for Democrats.

Winning elections is important — therefore, advocating in favor of Republican nominees or in favor of third-party spoiler candidates that could split the vote and throw an election to our conservative opponents is never permitted on Democratic Underground. But that does not mean that DU members are required to always be completely supportive of Democrats. During the ups-and-downs of politics and policy-making, it is perfectly normal to have mixed feelings about the Democratic officials we worked hard to help elect. When we are not in the heat of election season, members are permitted to post strong criticism or disappointment with our Democratic elected officials, or to express ambivalence about voting for them. In Democratic primaries, members may support whomever they choose. But when general election season begins, DU members must support Democratic nominees (EXCEPT in rare cases where a non-Democrat is most likely to defeat the conservative alternative, or where there is no possibility of splitting the liberal vote and inadvertently throwing the election to the conservative alternative). For presidential contests, election season begins when both major-party nominees become clear. For non-presidential contests, election season begins on Labor Day. Everyone here on DU needs to work together to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of American government. If you are bashing, trashing, undermining, or depressing turnout for our candidates during election season, we'll assume you are rooting for the other side.

You know his followers are probably begging him to when he loses. He said at first that he wouldn't, because it was too important to keep a Repub out of the White House. That's why he ran as a Dem. I'm not sure now, though, that he still means it. He's been told for six or seven months how morally and ethically superior he is; that's bound to have an effect. I hope not.

I think he will ask his supporters to support Hillary. The same goes for Hillary is he were to win the primary. They know that they are the best to lead, clearly over any GOP candidate. JMHO

I don't think Tad Devine is serving Sanders well. Why would you go on cable tv and say that your candidate is running against the party he allegedly joined, then in the next breath attest to his ethical purity. That's ethically very sneaky.

He would need to start now to get in all states, unless one of the existing parties nominated him.

So a third party run at that time would be for the purpose of electing the Republican nominee.

I still don't think he will do that.

Promoted as must read a rant from some yahoo who was disappointed in Obama since his inauguration speech. Why? He didn't give us a villain! Seriously. The guy thinks what we needed was a "bedtime" type story because words. and more words.

Worse? He went after O's book, said it was missing the final chapter where he finally "resolves his identity". Seriously...

A somewhat less charitable explanation is that we are a nation that is being held hostage not just by an extremist Republican Party but also by a president who either does not know what he believes or is willing to take whatever position he thinks will lead to his re-election. Perhaps those of us who were so enthralled with the magnificent story he told in "Dreams From My Father" appended a chapter at the end that wasn't there - the chapter in which he resolves his identity and comes to know who he is and what he believes in.

I couldn't decide if the whole article was more racist or socialist but I did start to wonder if they'd been punked and it was parody.

I was definitely shocked Sanders was promoting it so strongly. Everyone remember the faces he pulled in the debate when Hillary reminded him he hadn't supported Obama strongly? Yeah, well I guess a few days shy of the Fox debate, he thinks a little more distance from a president who is, according to his recommended author, constrained by "his character".
