Paraphrasing here:
However, when analyzing this voting block as a whole, it's clear that the "POLITICAL REVOLUTION" rhetoric of Bernie does not resonate.
Millions of Latinos themselves (or their family members) "LEFT THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN TO ESCAPE REVOLUTION OR UNSTABLE GOVERNMENTS" and do not care to relive that here.
Pertinent points, I think.

(14 posts)and Latinos voted for much higher numbers for Republicans until recently
PEW RESEARCH:
Hispanics: 39% Moderate, 35% Liberal, 24% Conservative
Blacks: 42% Moderate, 29% Conservative, 27% Liberal
Whites: 50% Liberal, 36% Moderate, 12% Conservative
This narrative might fit the conservative Cuban population who were under an authoritarian Communist, but as a whole, I don't buy the conclusion of the pollster.

(15,445 posts)As you say, "both Latinos and Blacks are less liberal than Whites".
And, yes, the Latino block has gradually been moving into the Dem. column, in part because of the increasing zenophobia of the RW. By nature and custom, they tend to conservatism.
Which explains why the idea of "REVOLUTION" makes a lot of them shake in their boots.

(6,444 posts)besides his civil rights marching 40 years ago. He is a not known quantity with minorities. Why would they risk something as risky as a revolution with someone they haven't built trust with - when they are the ones who will be hit the hardest if (when) it doesn't work out.
Smart to pass and sit out this revolution.

: a person who stimulates or annoys especially by persistent criticism
Did You Know?
The history of "gadfly" starts with "gad," which now means "chisel" but which formerly could designate a spike, spear, or rod for goading cattle. Late in the 16th century, "gad" was joined with "fly" to designate any of several insects that aggravate livestock. Before too long, we began applying "gadfly" to people who annoy or provoke others.
