Bravura performance in Detroit tonight....No contest with the Bern. He's not even in her league.

Style, content, tone, depth of knowledge, grasp of situations...she's so far beyond his superficial, simplistic platitudes, it's remarkable.

Someone commented and I agree that actually both candidates represented the political left well. They did us proud, I think. I am thrilled with HRC especially.

She is SO damn presidential, intelligent and yes charming... I love Obama and my only disappointment has been his lack of really trying to work with the other side....some of it was futile since I really think they did have the plan to just deny anything he wanted but I really feel Hillary won't stop trying and she'll compromise at times, but it's better than a stalemate...

She is nearly perfect...

He worked VERY hard to move the country forward and was met with constant obstruction. Even the Rep electorate sees it, which is why some are turning to Trumpy now.

and I do understand the dissent, even though I disagree with it. I quite disliked Hillary in 2008 - it's easy to get caught up in the emotions of the primary wars. For many Bernie supporters it is difficult right now to see anything positive in Hillary, not only because they have bought into the"artful smear" about how she's bought and paid for, but also because they know deep down that she is busy beating their beloved candidate (and yes, Bernie can be quite lovable) and that makes her the enemy. Most of them will eventually come around, especially as the reality of either Trump or Cruz (shudder!) looms.

I myself do not consider Hillary "nearly perfect," but I have a hell of a lot of respect for her. I do not have to find myself in agreement with all her choices or actions to know that she would make a very effective president. I will be casting my first presidential vote in November, and I will be very proud to pull that lever for Hillary Clinton. (A bit of background: we're doing our citizenship process this year - I had hoped to do it in time for the primaries, but the cost has been prohibitive, so we will start the process next month. We've lived in the US for nearly 2 decades, most of my adult life, but first on student visas while I was doing my Ph.D. and hubby was doing his training, then eventually on workers visas and then Green Cards, so while I feel very Americanized and have followed politics for years, this will be my first time voting. I'm very excited! I knew from very early on in my time in the US that I align with the Democrats, and I can't wait to officially become what I already consider myself to be!)

With regards to Obama, I agree with others who said that he did really try to work with the Republicans (too much, in fact, I think). They were the ones who decided from Day 1 to obstruct his every move. Damn racists.

How exciting to vote for the first time and a good time to have a meaningful vote!

i was saying Hillary is nearly perfect in her qualities to be a good/great president. Obama really has/had the perfect presentation while Hillary is more calculated. Hope she can reveal more of her true personality once she gets in.

I also agree that racism had a lot to do with the obstruction he's faced and I'm proud of how he's handled it and amazed at his accomplishments. Will miss him dearly but excited to see what Hillary can bring...

She is eminently qualified, and a very thoughtful person. I think it's her tendency to overthink things and to see different sides of things that may let her appear less progressive than she is.

It's going to be interesting to see her presidency unfold!

Obama was the man for the moment in '08. I supported him early and I don't regret it.

She is the woman for this incredibly difficult moment in 2016.

I need someone who presents math that can work and can work with the difficult situation that will face a Democratic president in January 2017. Her point about what great things her opponents say about her so long as she's not running for something is so darn true.

The answers, she has command of a lot of issues, can give the background and can inform why things occurred. She can do this from memory, doesn't need to look puzzled when an issue is presented. She knows where she stands. I love her answers.
