Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumWill Hillary go 5-for-5 on Tuesday? (HRC group)
Yes, yes delegates are everything, but people still talk about states being won or lost for narrative purposes (And it is easier to conceptualize than delegate counts).
Anyway, my prediction is she goes 4 of 5 with either Ohio or Missouri being a "virtual tie" at 51-49 for Bernie.
3 of the 5 will be blow outs.

(1,968 posts)Ohio and Missouri are slight Bernie leads. Illinois is a slight Clinton lead.
NC is a clear Clinton win, and of course, FL is a blowout for Clinton.
The net? More than +75 delegates.
Please note, I'm not sure how the riot with the Trump and Bernie people is playing out and I'm not sure how much that'll impact the election. If it's scaring people, Missouri might tilt Clinton instead.

(34,427 posts)I think she will win FL and IL by large margins
and NC by a small margin. I think she'll lose MO, and that OH will be a virtual tie. This will give her a much larger delegate lead than she now has.

(10,142 posts)Bernie's people disrupt his rallies. I think Trump will start personally attacking Bernie. Neither trump nor Bernie will look better for the dust up.

(5,045 posts)I can't even imagine the tidal wave of HeartBern that would be gushing out of DU Camp Berine. It would be epic. Frankly I'll settle for 3 out of 5 if we can pull it off. The steady drip, drip, drip, of Hillary delegates just helps put another brick in the wall.

Caught even Bernie by surprise!
No more surprises.

I expect IL, NC, FL as the wins. I think Ohio will be very close but a win, and I think Missouri will be a very tight margin loss.

(15,366 posts)may have helped to ensure victories next Tuesday where HRC supporters may otherwise have been blase about their primaries.
No Hillary supporter will be staying home, thinking that his/her vote will not be necessary. No sane Hillary supporter should be voting in any GOP primary, as I understand that some may have done in MI. And hopefully, there will be no lack of Democratic ballots for voters who do show up, whichever candidate they support.
Best of all, only IL and OH have open primaries. The polls should be spot on for FL and NC. MO is anyone's guess because of the dearth of polls, but in the most recent one, Hillary leads and MO has a closed primary.
It is certainly possible that she could go 5/5. But so long as she meets or even exceeds her delegate targets, I'll be happy however things work out.
She did just get a +1 in the Mariana caucuses. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/hillary-clinton-wins-democratic-caucuses-northern-mariana-islands/story?id=37599233
So that's a hopeful sign.

(711 posts)The polls are looking good, but I'm a little cautious about putting any faith in polls. We just need to turn out our votes. MI was hopefully a wake up call. It's honestly great that we're not over confident. That may make all the difference. Hillary voters won't cast strategic votes this time. Also, the ground-game will be taken much more seriously.
I will be overjoyed if we move another 100 points ahead in the delegate count. Is that even possible?
