It's 479 to 6 -> Hillary

When it comes to endorsements that is. Drilling down into the numbers shows all six of Sanders endorsements come from individuals. So how many of Sanders fellow senators endorse him? That would be zero - fewer senate endorsements than Ted Cruz. So how many governors endorse Sanders? That would be zero. Yes - that would put Sanders dead last in that category.

Some will undoubtedly say - "Endorsements don't matter." or tout these statistics as proof positive that he is the real "outsider." Fair enough. But there is one small problem with being the consummate outsider sitting in the White House. Getting things done.

His supporters will say that when he and his supporters voices rise in a chorus it will convince everyone of the rightness of his agenda. To that point - all I can say is: "If they haven't even convinced me - a life long liberal Democrat - to vote for him, how will he and his followers convince roughly half of the nation that self identify as conservatives to go along with his ideas?"

telling! And it does not reflect at all favorably on him.

He couldn't even mention someone like Susan Collins, for example, when ME isn't that far from VT and might have some of the same political concerns as VT. He hemmed and hawed and at long last came up with Inhofe.

Perhaps they should also have asked him which Dem Senators are his friends, especially since not one has endorsed him so far.

know both of them personally!! So they know more about them that we know. So it really is telling!

The same way Cruz had almost no endorsements by people that knew him. At first I thought that was strange! But then the real Cruz started showing his true colors to America. So it was really telling that he wasn't being endorsed by almost no one. Republicans should've backed Cruz from the beginning. If they had done so he prob would've become the front runner, but they hated him so much they could not bring themselves to do so....

5. Why politicians endorse

It's also probable that some politicians endorsed Sec. Clinton because they were betting on her winning, and an early endorsement is a way of currying favor with a possible future president. The possibility of getting a cabinet post, ambassadorship, or just a White House inclined to be favorable to your agenda may nudge an endorsement of the front runner.

For a presidential candidate - zero would not be the number of endorsements from Sentaors and Governors you'd be shooting for...

11. Lack of Congressional and Gubernatorial endorsements reveals a lack of confidence

Who would know Bernie better than those who have worked with him during his political career? This speaks volumes to me. Celebrities and other individuals could be thinking of how his populism might help them in some way, or they may just like his rhetoric. Has anyone who endorsed him known him personally or worked with him at all, aside from the two members of Congress who worked with him long ago?

These endorsements will give significant cover for all super delegates who want to stay with Clinton
