We need to defeat the repubs in November.

We have a chance to retain the White House regain the Senate and take
the SCOTUS away from the dark side.

To Bernie supporters, I think I'd like to say that your revolution is not dependent on one man.

You can still rise up and work for your ideals no matter who is in the White House.

My hope is that we can all join together and build the better country we all want.

From the pragmatic side, no candidate is perfect but we have to take into consideration the hands that we are dealt.

We have to do the best we can with the way things are.


From the idealistic side we can work to improve the way things are and deal ourselves a better hand but we have to get into the position of being the dealer.

...someone who has been who has been limping along with 4 hides based on harmless post for over a month now. I was being very careful but I never knew when totally harmless post was going be alerted on and hidden by a unscrupulous jury. That happened at least twice and I was saved by 3-4 jury decisions.

I got banned before there were "hides." Despite trying to be factual and mild-mannered, one day I was just gone. I felt the Hillary fans had been steamrollered at DU by snarky, perhaps paid, posters and I never posted again.

I lurked, though, especially lately, and felt today might be the day to poke my head up again.

While I sympathize with Bernie's supporters and share his idealism, I -- like Hillary and Bill -- once worked for George McGovern, and saw what that got us: Richard Nixon.

I see in Hillary someone who might finally give a voice to all of us who once marched, 40 years before our feet started hurting like hell.

She's had to go through a lot to get the resume a pioneer needs. I don't know how she takes it, the constant undermining. I admire her enormously, but better her than me!
