Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumIs it now time Obama endorses Hillary ??
Considering she will get the nomination anyway, would now be the time for him to speak up ??
And what if any impact would it have on the overall picture.
Welcome!

(32,623 posts)He's sent signals so there isn't really any question about what he thinks, considering his choice is between someone who builds on his policies/legacy or someone who doesn't.

(524 posts)I can understand why some may say he should wait, however, when you have the Bernie people all fired up for great things to happen,it would seem to take that energy and put it to good use & to take down the trump money machine.
Just sayin'

Sander's behavior and comments this last week has not been good for his standing in the Democratic party, but that should be no surprise.

(213 posts)But I got a preview the other day when he was giving his speech in Austin to a Democratic group and I turned to my friend and said, "I can't wait until he starts campaigning for Hillary!"

(15,438 posts)will be endorsing, but he's in a tight fight with Senate Republicans over Chief Judge Merrick Garland to get him confirmed, and he's got plenty of other important work to do.
Once he endorses, they require him to campaign for her, and he really doesn't have that much time to do it yet.
So no, it's not time for President Obama to endorse his former SoS.
