Hillary up by 48 pts in New York

Clinton, who was twice elected as a New York senator, locked up wins in five more states on Tuesday, extending her delegate lead. She's favored by 48 points over Sanders, 71 percent to 23 percent, to win the New York primary on April 19, according to the Emerson poll.

The survey of 768 likely general election voters in New York, which traditionally favors Democrats, was conducted March 14–16 via landlines with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.

She also lead Trump by 55 to 36.

She almost ran the table on the individual counties: she won 58 of a total 62, including all but one of the upstate-ish counties, that usually vote red. It was the second most decisive win in US Senate races in NYS ever. (Admittedly, the R's were in serious disarray that year, since no top tier Republican wanted to run against her.)

In 2000, she took 55% of the vote and around 15 of the counties, including a few of the upstate ones. So her popularity grew even more over her first term.

It makes Sanders' insistence that he is going to win NYS kind of a head scratcher.

... to think that any Bernie fan thinks that he still has a chance at becoming the nominee.
