Another article - Sanders wins 3 states; Clinton retains big delegate lead

http://news.yahoo.com/sanders-seeks-caucus-trifecta-win-close-delegate-gap-065249484--election.html#

In an interview with The Associated Press, Sanders cast his performance as part of a Western comeback, saying he expects to close the delegate gap with Clinton as the contest moves to the more liberal northeastern states, including her home state of New York. He also said his campaign is increasing its outreach to superdelegates, the party insiders who can pick either candidate, and are overwhelmingly with Clinton.

she still retains big delegate lead...

(The 1/2 is a Democrats Abroad SD; they only count for 1/2 each.) Some of them will obviously stay uncommitted until the end - Obama, Biden, Wasserman Schultz don't want to give the impression of favoritism in their positions. If we're generous, that means 170 delegates that he can convince to join him.

Any attempts to 'poach' the 470 SDs that have declared for Hillary is pretty laughable. They've already stated a preference for her, and she's leading in both pledged delegates and votes, and states too. Very few of them, if any at all, will switch before or at the convention. It's pretty naive of Bernie Sanders to think that they will switch because some very untrustworthy polls say that Sanders can beat Trump in the GE, when the same polls say that Clinton can beat Trump too.

Endorsement at this time. As time nears to the end of the primaries there will be more endorsements for Hillary.

Some are probably waiting to see the results of their state - I know neither Sen. Jeff Merkley nor Rep. Peter DeFazio in Oregon have declared, though I don't know if that is their reason.

Also because I wanted to see if they'd been pressured like Elizabeth Warren. Merkley and DeFazio had nearly no comments on their facebook page, Brazile had several nasty ones, both Bernie related and not, while Jerry Brown (Gov, CA) was being hit by immigration haters, who might just as well be Trumpers.

is currently doing. On sharing intelligence, Sanders voted against IWR which provided inspections in Iraq, intelligence sharing is important but voting against intelligence gathering will not result in sharing of intelligence.
