I think this has been posted before but a good read...

He's only authored 3 bills in his career and 2 were to change names of post offices? Also, running as a dem so he can take advantage of the exposure and yet is trying to take down the dem party is disingenuous... He's never been well liked in congress or the senate so why would super delegates (often elected officials) go his way?
The comments are also good...

(32,623 posts)Why would I want to revolt against continuing his policies? And why wouldn't I love for that to be done by a woman?
The fact that I have always believed she was actually more liberal than him is icing.

(1,353 posts)The white affluent college kids and somehow convinced them his cause of 25yrs that has gone nowhere is something new and fresh and worth fighting for?
There will be a lot of these supporters who won't end up voting and if probably won't matter in the end... I'd feel duped if I were them...none of his ideas would have have a chance of getting through...none of his ideas are really new... Wonder why Clinton isn't attacking him more on this? I would rather have her keep her positive campaign going anyway. And if he won't endorse her without his demands, then he can go back to being an independent and see what other post office needs a new name...

I'm not misguided...a clear headed Hillary supporter in the Hillary Group...where this was posted for Hillary supporters. Maybe you need to be "guided" to the Bernie Group?

(10,893 posts)Satch's take actually rings true even today. Many people, especially around my age, don't realize the tediousness and hard work that is involved in gaining the policies that they want. They ironically complain about a lack of progress and tone-deaf political systems, but some of the elections that have the largest impacts on their lives are those they rarely vote in (e.g. state and local elections). And all the BS campaign is doing is neglecting that fact while essentially being fueled on doom and gloom.
Especially since no ground work existing to refer to as a platform. Come to think about it...still no action plan on the table to examine... Just talking about what could be changed, yet no organization to address said change

(12,209 posts)So, I don't see a revolution, just hope, no action plan to implement ....thus, no revolution.

(12,209 posts)I'm still not seeing ANY active plan for how his change/ revolution would transpire. Where is the organization platform? We only have wishful thinking regarding changes needed, which I support.

(15,349 posts)here are some sample paras:
Bernie is different from the people you name - and it is a critical fact. He speaks to white people's problems. The other leaders came out of movements that addressed REAL issues of abuse, life and death, absolute survival. Bernie comes out of none of those experiences - in fact ignores those continued experiences - but locks into a false ideology that somehow millennials and privileged white people are the wronged who deserve better.
IMO, she pretty much nails it.

(2,897 posts)going to raise taxes on everybody for him while he constantly dumps on them. His mandate will only extend to liberal states where progressive primary challenges are a threat. Democrats, from swing states and red states, are going to flip him the bird and be applauded by their constituents for not increasing their taxes. Given his strident nature, I could actually see the Republicans and the Democrats coming together to form veto proof majorities on pieces of legislation that might not pass his purity test.
