Tue Mar 29, 2016, 06:28 AM
Mar 2016

Is horrific. Not only because the people who espouse this idea aren't the ones who will suffer or die when things get bad, but also because it dismisses the things people already do to stop things the Republicans want. In many states, Democrats are the only thing that is keeping horrific legislation from passing. For heaven's sake, in some states Democratic legislators have fled the state to try to stop the Republicans. Wendy Davis filibustered for hours.

How far do they want the US to regress before they get their revolution. How many people are they willing to sacrifice? Are they willing to murder people themselves? If President Trump becomes a reality, as Sarandon seems to want, will she be willing to destroy the Constitution to save the country?

Then she spews out that if the election was between Hillary and Trump, she believes Sanders would urge his supporters to "probably support Hillary over Trump because he has no ego"

and then proceeds to say that "she doesn't believe she could vote for Hillary"

I guess we know who has the EGO Sarandon.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/29/susan-sarandon-trump-might-be-better-for-america-than-hillary-clinton.html

After her support for Nader over Gore in 2000, why would I even value her critical thinking skills or judgement?

It is hard for me to believe that she thinks these kinds of statements actually help her candidate. What they do signal is a spoiled person who if they don't get their way will take their marbles and go home.

I will say one thing in her favor though, she was perfectly cast as the evil queen Narissa, in the movie Enchanted.

You've managed to spook registered Democrats in a meaningful way before closed primaries, change the story from the debate over a debate, and kill his momentum by bringing #BernieorBust into the national spotlight in one fell swoop. That takes talent. To be fair, Tad Devine helped by calling Hillary a "weak candidate" and pretending that they weren't trying in states where they out-staffed and out-volunteered her and still lose. Sanders has this ragtag bunch of celebrity surrogates that are the gift that keep on giving. Destroying his image since SC.

Trump gets elected and burns the whole place down, how are the people suppose to start a revolution? Here's the deal...in the 70's and 80's my mom was a single parent of 3. She worked full time, sometimes part-time, and took sewing in under the table. We received pretty much every safety net thing you can think of. Now, she was a bit busy just trying to survive and would never be able to afford to go to Washington to protest...

So SS, how does this revolution help people out like my mom? would she help out....I think not.
