Adjusting the goals for NY

Remember how they were telling us they'll win it, and turn it around? Primary 2.0? According to this story http://www.politico.com/story/2016/03/bernie-and-hillary-prep-for-new-york-clash-221321 thet are now striving for a "credibility threshhold"

Sanders’ allies said the goal for the primary is to eat into Clinton’s delegate take by winning at least 40 percent of the vote -- a percentage they cite as a “credibility threshold.”

I guess those very expensive pollsters finally came in with their reports

When the expectation is that you are going to get your ass handed to you, and you figure it would be wise to LOWER expectations.

So that sentence really doesn't make much sense about winning at least 40% of the vote...

They can't tell Bernie how bad he's really going to do in New York for fear he fires his entire team and replaces them with...oh, I don't know, Bob Shrum is still available...before Sorta-Super Tuesday rolls around. And they can't tell Bernie's supporters he's going to blow New York by epic proportions because they'll start spending those $23 donations at DraftKings or on milk for the baby. Hence, the Credibility Threshold. "Yeah, we're gonna fuckin' lose, but if we can hit forty percent of the popular vote we'll limit her gain on the day to only fifty delegates instead of 150!"

to go full RW and Marco Rubio their way to the nomination. I doubt it will work out any better for them than it did for him.
