Hell Hath No Fury Like Maddow Scorned: Epic Smackdown Puts Bernie's Baghdad Bobs in Their Place

It must hurt when you have advocated as much for a campaign has Rachel Maddow has for Bernie Sanders and the campaign decides to make lies out of your reporting. Say what you want about Rachel, she is nothing if not mama-bear protective of her own reporting when it comes to facts.

So when Tad Devine, former Monsanto lobbyist (ouch!) and current superbly well-compensated Bernie Sanders campaign strategist and Jeff Weaver, the campaign manager for Sen. Sanders, tried to explain away their candidate's losses in eight states by saying it was only because they didn't want those voters and delegates anyway, Rachel was furious. She had herself done reporting in February (before those states had voted) about the Sanders campaign's on-the-ground superiority over the Clinton campaign, both in number and in longevity, and she was not having this revisionism.

This can't possibly be, Bernie's whole campaign is supposedly anti-corporate.

Did I hear that wrong?

from December: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/12/25/1463668/-So-You-re-Deeply-Concerned-About-Clinton-s-Connections

From the link:

Tad Devine: campaign adviser for Bernie Sanders. Worked at Winston & Strawn LLP, the law firm that has represented Microsoft, Verizon, Phillip Morris, Pfizer and, my favourite because of the magical effect the name has, MONSANTO! Yes, indeed, Bernie’s advisor worked at a law firm that has represented MONSANTO!
...
Devine also worked for Jon Corzine. As in “found liable for stealing clients’ money” Jon Corzine, although admittedly he’s appealing that. The Jon Corzine who got the $400 million golden parachute when he was forced out as CEO of Goldman Sachs. Member of the Bilderberg Group. That Jon Corzine.

He worked for deposed Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych (the guy forced out by the Orange Revolution). You know, the guy who had a ridiculously expensive personal mansion which was sort of hard to explain how he could afford on his official salary and that he really hadn’t brought in ostriches to his private petting zoo, they “just happened to be there”. Somehow, magically.

Let’s see...Devine also advised Alejandro Toledo, the president of Peru who was good buddies with George Bush and signed a free trade agreement with the US that has received much criticism in Peru.

Etc., etc.

There's a good adage about stones and glass houses that springs to mind.

I'm not impressed, but if she goes full tilt Clinton when Hillary wins the primary I might tune in once and a while.

One thing about Ms Maddow, she doesn't let anyone dupe her, if they manage to, she will call them out and loudly.

they can be caught in a lie so easily. Who fake admits they didn't they think those voters were worthy enough to try their hardest for?

This is all about not making the campaign donations stop
